SPE 101: For Parents

Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 7 PM – 9 PM

Suicide Prevention Education (SPE) for Parents is a 2 hour information circle that helps parents safely and confidentially address personal experiences of suicide talks with their kids and family. Facilitated by an ASIST (Applied Suicide Interventin Skills Training) Professional each participant will leave with basic 101 knowing the signs, symptoms and how to respond for keeping a safe and sustainably healthy structure moving forward for the whole family.

Suicide talk is never to be taken lightly. Suicide is “pain” and pain is meant to heard, validated and supported.

The information circle, materials and resources are free and benefactions are welcome.

The space provided for this circle is safe, respectful, confidential and with limited seating. Please RSVP by emailing info@cfmht.ca, DM Centre for Mental Health Transformation or click “Going” here on this event page.
